Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology’s Ideal Org on Váci Road.

Dedicated in July 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and eu news channel community activities. The anniversary featured a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
